It supplies batteries under OE relationships to India’s automotive manufacturers like Ashok Leyland, Ford Motor Company (FMC), Honda Motors Corporation HMC) Hyundai Motor India Limited–HMIL); Mahindra & Mahindras Ltd., Maruti Suzuki Automotive Co Pvlustre Div ), Nissan Motors India Limited (NMIL), Renault-Nissan Alliance, Tata Motors Ltd., Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd. (TKMPL) and Volkswagen India Private Limited. Amaron also exports batteries to several countries in the Asia Pacific and Africa.

Amaron has a wide product range that covers Inverter Batteries, Two-Wheeler Batteries, Four-Wheeler Batteries, Industrial Batteries and Solar Batteries. The company’s products are backed by a nationwide sales and service network of over 6,000 dealers and 100+ Amaron Pro shops. Amaron also has a strong pan-India distribution reach with 34 branch offices and 5 regional offices located across India. The company also has a state-of-the-art R&D facility in Hyderabad, which is engaged in new product development and quality improvement programmes. Amaron batteries come with a 36-month warranty for Inverter Batteries and 24 months for automotive batteries.

Amaron History

Amaron’s journey began in the year 2003 with the launch of India’s first Maintenance Free (MF) automotive battery. Since then, Amaron has been a pioneer in introducing several path-breaking technologies in the battery space. In 2005, Amaron launched ‘Floata’, India’s first VRLA battery for inverters and UPS systems. This was followed by the launch of ‘Pro Series’–a range of high performance automotive batteries in 2007 . In 2009, Amaron became the first company in India to launch a 48-month warranty battery and in 2010, it launched ‘Amaron Go’, India’s first long-lasting automotive battery with a 72-month pro-rated warranty. In 2013, Amaron introduced ‘Quanta’, India’s first VRLA battery with tubular technology for inverters and UPS systems. The company also offers a wide range of solar batteries under the ‘Amaron Solar’ brand.

With a strong focus on research and development, Amaron has been at the forefront of introducing several path-breaking technologies in the battery space. Some of these include:

1. Maintenance Free (MF) technology

Amaron was the first company in India to launch a MF automotive battery in 2003. This technology eliminates the need for frequent topping up of water, making the battery maintenance-free and hassle-free.

2. Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) technology.

Amaron was the first company in India to launch a VRLA battery for inverters and UPS systems in 2005. VRLA batteries are sealed and maintenance-free, making them an ideal choice for applications where space is limited.

3. Tubular Technology.

Amaron’s Quanta range of batteries is based on tubular technology, which offers several advantages over conventional flat plate batteries. Some of these include longer life, higher efficiency, and better resistance to deep discharge cycles.
